IAESTE in Prague

In Prague, there are 2 local IAESTE committees  –  one at the Czech Technical University (CTU) and one at the University of Chemistry and Technology (UCT).

How to get to our office
Our office is located at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (Fakulta strojní) at the Czech Technical University in Dejvice. Enter the building and right after the reception turn right down the stairs, there you will see the IAESTE logo on the wall. Just follow this sign (down to the basement and then up again) until you see a multi-coloured door with CDs and posters all over it. Congratulations you have found us.

How to get to our office
Our office is located at the UCT Prague – building B in Dejvice. We will show it to you after your arrival. It is also possible to meet our members at the student dorms Volha and Sázava.

These two committees cooperate on regular basis so during the summer programme and all related events you will meet members of both centres and of course also trainees from both.

This webpage is dedicated to all IAESTE trainees in Prague, because many information is common to all of you. If there are things which are specific to one or the other it is indicated in the text so that it is clear to you what applies to whom. Of course if you have any doubts feel free to contact an IAESTE member (you will receive contact lists upon your arrival).

There is a common Facebook group IAESTE Trainees Prague 2012. If you have not yet joined it, definitely do it, because it is a great platform for both trainees and IAESTE members to communicate with each other informally about anything they need to discuss, be it more serious matters or just organizing an evening out.

Will will also use an email group when we will need to contact you all about more important matters, such as salaries, official IAESTE events etc. and also not to discriminate people who still manage to resist Facebook.
